Panther Junior returns to Noarlunga for 2025.

The South Adelaide Football Club is thrilled to welcome Jaiden Magor back to Flinders University Stadium for the 2025 Hostplus SANFL League Season.

Magor, originally drafted by the Sydney Swans from the Panthers with pick 31 in the 2022 rookie draft, now returns to South Adelaide.

Known for his dynamic play as a half-forward/midfielder, Jaiden has also been developing his skills as a defender over the past year, bringing added versatility to the Panthers’ lineup.

In his 36 games with the Swans' VFL side, the 20-year-old averaged 17 disposals per game, consistently demonstrating his ability to impact play.

His return is set to provide South Adelaide with new options and depth around the ball.

Magor said he is excited to return to the Panthers.

"I'm very excited to return to South. We've got a good group of young boys that I've grown up playing with throughout my juniors, which is something I’m really looking forward to." Magor said.

Reflecting on his time in Sydney, Magor emphasised the personal growth he’s gained.

"It’s definitely the relationships on and off the field—being away from home, you learn to build that camaraderie with your teammates."

"I’ve also worked on improving my professionalism and off-field habits, not only to elevate my own performance but also to bring those skills back to the club and share them with the boys."

Senior Coach Jarrad Wright is enthusiastic about welcoming another junior back to the squad.

“It’s great to get Jaiden back into the footy club after his two years at Sydney,” said Wright.

“He’s been part of a successful AFL program and will bring valuable learning and experience to the team."

Wright continued,

“Jaiden was drafted as a forward/midfielder but has spent the last year refining his defensive game at Sydney."

"He’s a smart decision-maker and handles the ball well. While he’s versatile in the positions he can play, we’ll look to explore his potential further in the midfield over the summer."
