Welcome Brad Jefferies
Jefferies Swaps Double Blue for Blue and White
The South Adelaide Football Club is thrilled to welcome 2024 Reserves Magarey Medalist Brad Jefferies to Flinders University Stadium as a key addition to the Panthers for the 2025 season.
At just 21, Jefferies made an impact last season, clinching the Reserves Magarey Medal after an impressive year, where he polled 17 votes across 15 Reserves games.
His composure, vision, and consistent performance have established him as one of the league's rising stars.
Standing at 185cm, Jefferies is a big-bodied midfielder known for his strong physical presence and sharp ball-winning skills, averaging 24 disposals per game.
His arrival promises to add grit and drive to the Panthers’ midfield, giving the team additional strength around the contest.
Jefferies himself is eager for the season:
"I'm just excited to get around a young group of boys and hopefully play some League footy," he shared, expressing his readiness to jump into 2025.
"I'm really excited to come out to South on a nice big oval, lots of room to run and spread, and hopefully I can get on the end of a couple of goals."
When asked why he chose South Adelaide, Jefferies highlighted the club’s potential for growth and his own development:
"I think it was a really good opportunity to progress my footy, keep pushing forward, and play my best footy. Hopefully, over the next couple of years, our young team can continue to develop and get that ultimate success."
General Manager of Football, Brent Reilly, is equally enthusiastic about the addition of Jefferies:
"Brad is a very clean player in the contest and has the ability to get from contest to contest for a midfielder. He has a great work ethic and has his off-field sorted, with almost finishing his construction management degree."
"He had a great year at Sturt in their reserves, and we know he will fit in well at the Panthers."
The club welcome Brad, his family and friends to the Panthers!
