Baynes new Panthers’ President

Former South Adelaide Club Captain and Life Member Geoff Baynes is the new President of the Panthers.

Elected as Football Director at the Club’s Annual General Meeting on Monday night, Geoff was appointed to the Presidency by his fellow Board members at the new Board’s first meeting.

Life Member Paul Kristoris is the Club’s new Vice President after being successfully elected to the Commercial Director position.

Sean Augustin was returned as Finance Director and Grant Miles won the ballot for the General Director position.

Andrew English, Legal Director, and Ian Cox AM, Community Director, round out the six elected Director positions after they were elected unopposed in their portfolios.

The Club has the ability to appoint a further two Directors to the Board and will consider a range of candidates over the coming weeks.

South Adelaide CEO Neill Sharpe thanked all the Board nominees for putting themselves forward.

“We were extremely fortunate to have a strong group of candidates. I’m sure those that missed out will be disappointed but we hope they will continue to support the Panthers moving forward and if an opportunity arises in the future to join the Board they put their hand up again.”
