A wire-to-wire effort saw South Adelaide's Reserves earn their second win of the season as they toppled North Adelaide at Prospect on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers set themselves for victory after establishing a 20-point buffer by quarter time.
The visitors had to withstand charges from the Roosters in the second and final terms, but ultimately ran out 12.8 (80) to 10.8 (68) winners on the day.
Post game Michael Handby commended his side on a 21-man performance, but did note several standout performers for the game.

Big American Alex Aurrichio was a dominant force around the ground, finishing with 18 possessions, all of them contested, 23 hit-outs, six clearances, seven tackles, clunked four contested marks and booting a goal.
Meanwhile, Morphett Vale recruit Aiden Baker played his best game of the season in the Panthers defence, Connor Fairlie (22 touches) and Coby Helyar (20) found plenty of the ball and Ben Haren led all scorers with three goals.
The only negatives from the match came in the form of a hamstring injury to pacy defender Robert Badger and a knee tweak suffered by young small forward Nathan Beenham. The pair will be assessed further during the week.
