New REDARC Scoreboard
South Adelaide launch new Sportal scoreboard thanks to REDARC Electronics.
The South Adelaide Football Club this week unveiled a brand new digital scoreboard thanks to outstanding support from long-term partner, REDARC.
Redarc Managing Director Anthony Kittel was on hand to officially open the 9 metre x 5 metre scoreboard, which will be the largest in the SANFL.
Produced by Sportal and OneWorld LED the scoreboard combines cutting edge technology with easy to use functionality allowing it to provide an exciting game-day experience.
South Adelaide CEO Neill Sharpe was extremely grateful for the support of Anthony Kittel and REDARC.
“The reality is that things like this don’t happen without the support of Anthony. REDARC are a great Southern suburbs business that continue to grow internationally but also maintain their support for so many organisations in their community."
“The scoreboard has the capabilities to be so much more than just that and we look forward to showing the football public and the wider community what it can do over the coming weeks with the Women’s season underway and the men’s competition to start on Good Friday."
Anthony Kittel, Managing Director of REDARC Electronics is delighted to expand on their support of the Panthers.
"REDARC are delighted to strengthen our long-standing partnership with the South Adelaide Football Club through the unveiling of this incredible digital scoreboard."
"This significant upgrade in technology is a major boost for supporter and community engagement and interaction on gameday and other important occasions."
"REDARC is a strong supporter of our southern suburbs community, and we couldn’t be more pleased with this great outcome for SAFC, players of all ages in both the Men and Womens competitions to upgrade the game-time experience. "
"The vibrant colors, high-quality visuals, and real-time updates not only provides crucial information about the ongoing game but also help foster a sense of unity amongst the supporters."
"Our REDARC team are proud to support such a powerful tool for creating excitement and engagement for players and fans."
Mr Sharpe explained that once Anthony Kittel had pledged his support for the scoreboard the project has taken nearly 12 months to complete.
The Club met with a number of companies capable of providing a solution but ultimately Sportal and OneWorld LED were the successful tenderer.
Preliminary works on the scoreboard site started in February and were completed last week with the erection of the scoreboard structure.
Mr Sharpe thanked the construction group of Sportal, OneWorld LED, City to Surf Electrical and South Coast Earthworx for the seamless completion of the project.
