A dominate second half display sees the South Adelaide Reserves register their second win of the year in style with an 80-point win over Norwood at Coopers Stadium on Sunday.
The Panthers piled on ten second half goals to Norwood's two to help set up the very strong 15.16 (106) to 3.8 (26) victory.
Sam Whitbread was impressive during the Panthers big win, as was the familiar names of Jesse McKinnon and Zach Dumesny.
The signs looked good early for the Panthers as they entered the first break with a promising 3.3 (21) to 1.1 (7) lead.
With Aaron Douglass, Danny Juckers, and Tyler Davies playing the well the Panthers continued to tighten their grip lead as they held Norwood scoreless during the second term while booting two goals of their own.
However, it would be the third term that would see the Panthers really gain a foothold as the boys in the blue and white scored 7.5 (47) to Norwood's 2.5 (13), to hold a hefty lead at the final change.
With most the hard work already done in the first three quarters South Adelaide would once again hold Norwood scoreless during the final term, while scoring another three goals of their own to come out on top with a 15.16 (106) to 3.8 (26) win.
Following a rough start to the season, their second win of the year sees the South Adelaide Reserves jump to fifth on the ladder.
The Panther Reserves now set their sights on Woodville-West Torrens and will clash with the top-placed Eagles at Flinders University Stadium on Saturday August 15, from 11:25am.
