Thank You: Malcolm Karpany, Tom Whittlesea and Mark Noble
Malcolm Karpany, Tom Whittlesea and Mark Noble depart the Panthers.
Karpany, who was recruited to the Panthers in 2019 when he returned to South Australia after five seasons with the West Coast Eagles.
Taken at pick 31 of the 2013 national draft, Karpany played seven games for West Coast from 2014-2018.
As a Panther Karpany played 22 matches and kicked 17 goals in two seasons, including a match-winning four goal performance in this year's semi-final.
Due to returning to his home town of Moonta to take up employment, Karpany advised the club that he won't return in 2021.
"We have all witnessed Mal's talent and ability to break a game open off his own boot." said senior coach Jarrad Wright
"It's unfortunate to lose such a quality person and player like Mally out of our program, but he knows the door is always open should he return to Adelaide. "
"We do thank him for his commitment to the club over the past 2 years and wish Taylah (partner), Koen (son) and Malcolm all the best back home with their family."
Tom Whittlesea and Mark Noble both joined the Panthers seeking greater opportunities at League level.
Whittlesea played 39 games for South Adelaide after making his way to Flinders University Stadium in 2018 from Woodville West Torrens.
Noble, who moved to Victoria at the end of last season, returned in 2020 due to COVID.
He also played 39 games after joining from West Adelaide.
The South Adelaide Football Club would like to thank Malcolm, Tom and Mark for their contribution to the club and wish them all the best for the future.
