South Adelaide Under-18s make it five in a row as they record an 84-point win over Centrals on Saturday evening.
This week we traveled to X Convenience Oval out at Elizabeth, it's a long way and never easy to win there even though Central under 18's have not had a great season.
We played after the League's 5-goal win, which was a good opportunity for our players to see the first part of their game while we prepared to play.
We had two forced changes to our side this week with Beau McCreery missing due to injury, and Sam Hindes who, unfortunately had shoulder surgery this week which will mean he will miss the remainder of the season.
This gave an opportunity for Harry Spacie to come back in from injury and Isaac Birt (Strathalbyn Football Club) who is another debutant from our 2019 Under-16 squad.
Issac is our seventh Under-16 who has played Under-18 football this year which, will be great experience moving forward.
We looked strong from the first bounce this week, it only took three and a half minutes for Daniel Sladojevic to kick his first.
Central then took the ball forward, marked and got a 25m penalty to kick there first a couple of minutes later.
Sladojevic kicked his second, with the boys setting up a couple of set shot opportunities which we didn't convert, before Daniel kicked his third for the game.
We went into quarter time 17-points up and in control.
In the second quarter, we had twice as many inside 50s than Centrals, and were able to capitalise by kicking five goals to two goals.
Although we were 37-points up at the main break, we missed some chances that we should have taken, and it felt like Centrals were still in the game.
Our third quarters have not been the best this season, so the challenge was there for us to extend our lead not let the opposition back in.
We did a good job to grind out the quarter and move to 50-points up at three-quarter time, thanks to Liam Hamilton kicking two and Nick Kraemer one for the quarter.
In the last quarter, we had a goal to reach 100-points and the boys took on the challenge.

Hamilton kicked the next and his fourth for the game and we had total control.
We had twice as many disposals for the quarter, and our backline was ruthless in defence not letting Centrals score.
We kicked another 3 goals through Ben Ryan, Mitch Riddle, and first gamer Isaac Birt to go past the 100-point mark
We have some work to do on our goal kicking in the next couple of weeks after kicking 16 goals 13 points.
An 84-point win was a great result, again the team looked close and performed well for most of the day.
Only two games to go and we now sit 3rd on the ladder (only by percentage).
We now have a week off before we play North who are 4th, and a win there would guarantee finals.
