This season, for the first time South Adelaide supporters will be able to directly influence an official club award handed out at the Knuckey Cup, with the introduction of the Cibo Espresso Colonnades Fans MVP Trophy.

Following each game Panthers fans will be given the chance to vote for the player they believe was the best on ground and crown a People's Champion.

The votes will be tallied throughout the following week and the top five vote getters will be awarded points 5 through 1 (with five being the highest). The player with the most points at the end of the season will be crowned the inaugural Cibo Colonnades Fans MVP.
