"I loved every minute of my time here and that's what makes departing incredibly difficult.
"There are many people I wish to thank who have helped me throughout my time at South. To the supporters of the club, thank you for your on going support it is greatly appreciated. To the staff and volunteers, the club would not survive without your dedication.
"I would also like to thank Neill Sharpe for getting me over to the club five years ago. To Brad Gotch and Garry Hocking thank you for all you taught me and your on going friendship.
"Finally I'm grateful for the life long friends I have made amongst the playing group. I have been fortunate to play with some special players and even better characters during my time here and I hope that as a group they achieve the ultimate success."
