BETTA Teams Selection: SANFLW Round 2 v North
The Panthers will make at least one forced change a head of Saturday nights clash against the Roosters.
Coming off a dominant performance over Central District at the Ponderosa last Saturday, the Panthers return to Flinders University Stadium for the first time in 2022 to add another chapter to the fierce rivalry against the Roosters.
The Panthers will be without 2021 Best and Fairest Nicole Campbell who suffered a knock to the throat in Saturday's win over Centrals.
This will open the door for potentially another two debutants with Caitlin Couch (Pinktails) and Maddy Rasmussen (Kenilworth) coming into the side.
Caitlin Ross is also a chance to make her first League appearance for 2022, who comes into the extended squad.
Jaslynne Smith will also play her 50th game for South Adelaide.
Smith became the first Panther to play 50 SANFLW games in round 10 last season, which included 4 games that she played for West Adelaide in 2017.
Meanwhile for the Panthers Development Team, there are a number of changes with Amy Gore coming out of the side due to personal reasons, Ross and Rasmussen come out having been elevated to the League squad.
Cleo Guilfoyle (Willunga) and Breanna Maunard (Goolwa Magpies) come into the extended Development team, both having a chance to play their first Development League match.
The Panthers first home match for 2022 kicks off from 4:15pm on Saturday afternoon followed by the SANFLW League side at 6pm.
If you can make the game, all SANFLW and Development League matches will be streamed via SANFL Now, a new streaming service for all things SANFL.
