BETTA Teams Selection: First Semi Final v Norwood
Panthers welcome back Matthew Broadbent for Saturday's sudden death Semi Final against Norwood.
Having been a late withdrawal in last week's Elimination Final against the Roosters, 2020 Knuckey Cup winner Matthew Broadbent is set to return following a hamstring niggle.
The Panthers also welcome back Reece Milsom and Luke Bogle who are additions to the extended squad of 25, that will be trimmed to 22 by 3:15pm on Saturday afternoon.
Finals are always big games, but the Panthers will add to the occasion by celebrating Joey Haines and Sam Overall's 100th SANFL Statewide Super League match.
Haines made his League debut as South Adelaide player 1705 in round 11 2013 against the Eagles, while Overall would make his debut a year later as player 1718 also against the Eagles in round 16 2014.
Senior Coach Jarrad Wright caught up with SANFL's Zac Milbank earlier in the week to discuss this week's crucial final.
Wright acknowledged the previous tight tussles against the Redlegs this year and is looking forward to the challenge.
The cut throat First Semi Final gets underway at 3:15 pm on Saturday afternoon at Adelaide Oval.
