The Panthers Under-16s have secured their spot in the Grand Final, where they will face the Double Blues after advancing straight through.

This marks the team's return to the Grand Final stage for the first time since 2021, when they claimed their inaugural Under-16 Premiership against Glenelg.

Brett Hudson, the coach who led the team to that 2021 victory, is thrilled about this year's return to the Grand Final and the chance to compete at Adelaide Oval. “It’s a huge opportunity for our group and a great experience,” Hudson said.

When talking about the game, Hudson emphasised the importance of the team's structure. “Our structures are heavily based around the contest, and we’ve developed our ball movement over the season,” he noted. “Our midfield group is one of our strengths.”

During the week, Under-16s captain Kodah Edwards was honored with the SANFL Under-16s Best and Fairest Award, capping off a strong 2024 campaign.

The Grand Final action begins at 9:20 am on Sunday morning at Adelaide Oval, the home of South Australian football.
