After narrowly escaping with a win over the Dogs two weeks ago and recharging during the Gather Round bye, the Panthers are refreshed and ready for their Good Friday showdown against the Tigers down the bay.

The squad sees two confirmed changes this week. Lily Baxter will miss the match due to AFLW Academy commitments, while Laquoiya Cockatoo-Motlap is sidelined after suffering a delayed concussion.

However, there’s a welcome return for the skipper—now with a new surname, Jordann Rugless is back in the lineup after recently tying the knot.

There’s also a chance for fresh faces to make their mark, with potential debuts on the cards for Hope Taylor (Happy Valley) and Molly Jenkins (McLaren Districts), who join Sarah Wright and Doreena Hansen in the extended squad.

In the Development League, the Panthers are on the verge of securing a third straight Grand Final appearance. A win over second-placed Glenelg would not only lock it in but also hand the Panthers hosting rights for the second year running. Still, three other teams remain in the hunt for that final Grand Final spot.

The action kicks off bright and early at 9:30 am with the Development League Round 7 clash, followed by the SANFLW at 11:20 am and the SANFL Reserves at 1:30 pm.
