After bouncing back against the Bloods, the Panthers are gearing up for a crucial showdown with Central Districts at Magain Stadium.

The Panthers will make two changes to face the Dogs. with skipper Jordann Hickey set to miss the next two games to celebrate her wedding, while young gun Marley Tape is away on State Under-16 duties.

This creates an opportunity for Litonya and Laquoiya Cockatoo-Motlap, Zoe Flesfadar, and a potential SANFLW debut for Molly Jenkins from McLaren Districts, who all come into the extended squad. 

Former Panther junior Casie Coombe (Christies Beach), will get her first start with the Panthers at SANFLW level.

After playing three games for Glenelg (2020-2023), Coombe joined the Panthers in 2024 but was sidelined by an ACL injury in the preseason. Now fit and ready, she’s keen to make an impact.

In the Development League, the Panthers have reclaimed the top spot on the ladder with just two games remaining.

A win against Centrals on Sunday could secure a third consecutive Grand Final appearance, depending on other results.

The day kicks off at 12:00 pm with the Development League Round 6 clash, followed by the SANFLW match at 2:00 pm.
