After a disappointing performance against the Roosters, the Panthers are eager to bounce back against the undefeated Bloods on Sunday afternoon.

They’ll be without emerging defender Carly Milsom, who suffered a season-ending ACL injury in the first quarter last Saturday.

The Panthers have also made two confirmed changes, with Laquoiya Cockatoo-Motlap and Doreena Hansen.

Stepping into the extended squad are Charlotte Dolan and Caitlin Ross, along with Cassie Coombe (Christies Beach), Molly Jenkins (McLaren Districts), and Jaidee-lee Shortridge (Cove).

Abby Woodward (McLaren Districts) will make her SANFLW league debut after an impressive run in the Development League over the last five games.

Sunday’s match will also be a milestone moment for 2024 Premiership ruck Soriah Moon, who is set to play her 50th Hostplus SANFLW League game.

Moon joined the Panthers in 2021 after playing eight games with Glenelg. She missed the 2022 season due to an ACL injury but has since returned to establish herself as the league’s premier ruck.

Meanwhile, in the Development League, the Panthers face a must-win clash against the Bloods to stay in touch with the top two.

The action kicks off at 10:00 am with Development League Round 5, followed by the SANFLW match at 12:00 pm.
