After a week off to let South Adelaide fans hearts recover, the Panthers are back in action, hitting the road to face the Power under lights at Alberton Oval this Friday night.

In a break from tradition, South Adelaide — one of the pioneers of Good Friday footy — won’t host a home game this year.

Instead, they'll head to Alberton, a ground that’s brought some recent success, with the Panthers claiming three of their last five matchups. 

One change is confirmed for South, with Cam Kirkland sidelined due to a groin issue.

Coming into the extended squad is Luke Bogle, who looks to have shaken off a chest injury from Round 1. He’s joined by Max Clifton, Jacob Collins, and Will Splann who could be in line for his South Adelaide debut.

With minimal changes expected, the Panthers are in the mix for their second win of the season, however it will be a tough battle with Port especially around the contest. 

Meanwhile, the Reserves are riding a wave of momentum after their dominant display against West Adelaide a fortnight ago. But they face a serious test this week in a top-of-the-table showdown against Glenelg.
