South Adelaide face West Adelaide for a spot in the major round. 

After accounting for the Double Blues in convincing fashion last week, the Panther Women face West Adelaide is a huge clash at Flinders University Stadium. 

The Panthers have their destiny in their own hands, with a win locking in their fourth consecutive finals appearance, while West Adelaide are also playing for their season.

The scenario is this, the Panthers win and they play finals, if West win it would depend on how much by and it would also depend on the result between North Adelaide and Sturt.

A North win would mean it would come down to percentage between the Panthers and Roosters, should West Adelaide win.

While an upset win from Sturt would also be in the Panthers favour. 

Moving on from the what if, the Panthers name one confirmed change with Hannah Munyard being ruled out with a arm injury, while Tahlia Meyer, who played against the Eagles in round 7, comes in for her second game since the end of the St.Kilda season.

Last time the Panthers faced West Adelaide was in round 6 at Adelaide Oval, where the Bloods had their first win over South Adelaide since the Panthers joined in 2018. 

The huge game kicks off from midday on Saturday afternoon at Flinders University Stadium.
