BETTA Team Selection: SANFLW Round 2 vs Norwood
South Adelaide will look to bounce back against the Redlegs on Friday night.
Coming off a tough loss at the hands of the reigning Premiers, the Panthers will make three forced changes for their first home game of 2021.
New recruit Alannah Rochow won't play against her former team, along with 2019 South Adelaide Best and Fairest Czenya Cavouras and first gamer Brooke Kleinig, who are all unavailable due to prior commitments.
However, this opens the door for at least one more debutant with Encounter Bay product Tess Huxtable set to make her debut.
Huxtable had a good showing in front of goals in the two trials, kicking a goal in each, and will look to make her mark up forward.
Also included in the extended squad of 24 is Amy Gore, sister of 2018 South Adelaide Best and Fairest and dual Premiership player Nikki.
Returning to the side for the first time in 2021 is speedy pocket rocket Madison Bennett, who will look to add some additional forward pressure which was missing in round 1.
2019 Premiership player Tamara Page will also return to the side for the first time in 2021.
Round 2 of the SANFL StateWide Super Women's League season kick off tomorrow night at Flinders University Stadium from 6:30pm.
