Footy is officially back, with South Adelaide’s SANFLW side set to take the field for the first time in 2025. They’ll take on Sturt in the first of two pre-season hit-outs, marking the beginning of an exciting new season.

Among the key storylines is the debut of Panther recruit Tamika May, who joins the club from West Adelaide. May brings added versatility across the ground and will don the blue and white for the first time.

This match also presents a valuable opportunity for emerging talents, including Lily Dunstall-Bruce and fellow Panther junior Casie Coombe, to showcase their development.

The Panthers will also feature several Pinktails, including Premiership players Doreena Hansen and the ever-reliable Caitlin Couch, alongside rising stars Brylee Kerrin and Megan McGuinness.

Meanwhile, South Adelaide’s Development League side will officially begin their season with a Round 1 clash against Sturt. The squad will feature several fresh faces, predominantly drawn from within the South Adelaide Zone.

Due to the warm conditions, both matches will kick off earlier in the day. The Development League game starts at 9:00 AM, followed by the SANFLW trial at 10:50 AM.
