Bangers' Ride for a Reason
In January 2017, South Adelaide Talent Manager Tony Bamford is set to ride in his seventh Cancer Council Ride for a Reason as part of the Bupa Challenge Tour, which helps fundraise for the Cancer Council.
It is a fantastic cause that raises much needed funds for cancer research, patient and family support and prevention and screening programs, but is also very close to Tony's heart.
"My Mum passed away in February 2011 after her long and brave battle with cancer over many years," said Mr Bamford.
"Now my Dad is fighting a new battle of his own after being diagnosed with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma in June this year. He is tough. He will put up a good fight!
"Far too many people suffer everyday from cancer. We have to find some answers soon to give some hope to these patients and their families.
So, with your help, I hope to raise some money to help with the ongoing fight against cancer. Every dollar counts."
