2025 Under-16 Head Coach
Bryn Loots to lead Under-16s in 2025
The South Adelaide Football Club is excited to announce the appointment of Bryn Loots as the head coach of the Panthers Under-16s for the 2025 season.
He takes over from Brett Hudson, who guided the team to a Premiership in 2021 and led them to another Grand Final appearance in 2024.
Hudson, who has been coaching the Under-16s since 2020, will continue his coaching journey with the Panthers Under-18s in 2025.
Bryn Loots brings a wealth of experience to the role, having been actively involved with the Panthers and the local coaching community.
From 2019 to 2023, he served as the Head Coach of the Junior Colts at McLaren Districts and held various positions, including Under-17.5 Assistant Coach and Runner for the Under-17.5, A Grade, and Reserves teams.
In addition, he was an Assistant Coach for the McLaren Districts Reserves in 2022 and contributed to the GSFL Academy and Association teams from 2020 to 2024.
Loots first joined the Panthers in 2020 as an assistant for the Under-15 Country Development Squad.
He progressed to Head Coach of the Under-13s in 2022 and took on the Under-15 Country Head Coach role until 2024.
For the past two seasons, he has also been involved with the Under-16 program as the Midfield Coach.
South Adelaide Talent Manager Mark Clayton expressed his enthusiasm for Loots' appointment as Under-16 Head Coach for 2025.
"We are thrilled to welcome Bryn as our Under-16 Coach next season," he said.
"It’s been rewarding to see his growth and development over the past four years as he has engaged with our Development Squad and Junior Program."
"Having someone like Bryn, who has emerged from the local zone, continue to evolve as a coach is truly gratifying."
"We also thank Brett for his service to the Under-16s and I look forward to seeing his growth as he steps into the Under-18s as the next part of his coaching journey"
