2025 SANFLW Leaders
The Panthers lock in their 2025 Senior Women's Leaders.
With the retirement of former skipper Bri Cleggett, the Panthers have finalised their 2025 leadership group, set to be led by Jordann Hickey.
Hickey, who joined the leadership group for the first time in 2024 under Cleggett's mentorship, has continued to develop as a leader.
Her growth culminated in the team's appearance in the 2024 SANFLW Grand Final.
Reflecting on the opportunity to lead the Panthers, Hickey expressed her gratitude and excitement.
"I’m truly honoured to have been voted in as Captain by my teammates—it’s something I’m incredibly proud of," Hickey said.
"Having been led by Bri Cleggett for the past few years, who has built such an incredible culture at the club, I feel fortunate to have been a part of it. The environment she’s created is one of the best I’ve ever experienced, and I’m excited to build on the culture she has created."
"I had the privilege of being in the leadership group last year and learned so much from Bri. I’ll definitely lean on those lessons as I step into this role, but I’ll also bring my own leadership style of leading from the front with my actions as we aim for back-to-back success this season."
"We have an exciting and fresh leadership group, and I’m really looking forward to working alongside them. The addition of Lauren Clifton, Emily Brockhurst, and Seraphina Moon will bring new perspectives and ideas to how we lead the team. We’re also fortunate to have experienced leaders like Sam Pratt, Tiff King, and Chloe Meyers, who will help guide us along the way."
"At this stage in my career, I get a lot of joy and satisfaction from passing on my knowledge and experience to the next generation of players, to empower them to be great players and teammates. Our young group is full of talent, and I’m excited to see their energy and fresh approach to footy. Maintaining a positive, fun vibe and ensuring a strong team culture is key to our success, and I’m confident we’re headed in the right direction."
Female Football Manager Jonathon Parker also shared his enthusiasm for the new leadership group.
"We’ve been fortunate to continue building our culture and connection as a group through the work we do with Julian Farkas from Leading Teams," Parker said.
"A large part of where we are culturally now is thanks to the incredible work Bri has done over the last four years. Building on that legacy, we’re excited and have full faith in Jordann to lead our program in 2025."
"Jordann has shown tremendous growth as a leader over the past 12 months, and with great support around her, we’re confident in continuing to build a strong and successful program. Congratulations to all the leaders elected to represent our footy club."
Joining Hickey in the leadership group is Tiffany King, who has been a part of the group for several years and steps into the Vice-Captain role for the first time. Lauren Clifton and Emily Brockhurst join the group as new additions, alongside returning leader Sam Pratt.
Chloe Meyers will lead the Development League as Captain, with Seraphina Moon, sister of Soriah, serving as Vice-Captain for the Development League side.
