ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS

NOTIFICATION OF ELECTION
· FINANCE DIRECTOR (3 YEAR TERM) Someone who preferably possesses qualifications, skills and experience in finance.
· FOOTBALL DIRECTOR (3 YEAR TERM) Someone who preferably possesses qualifications, skills and experience in Australian Rules Football.
· LAW DIRECTOR (2 YEAR TERM) Someone who preferably possesses qualifications, skills and experience in law, particularly sports law.
· COMMERCE/BUSINESS DIRECTOR (2 YEAR TERM) Someone who preferably possesses qualifications, skills and experience in commerce and business.
· COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR (1 YEAR TERM) Someone who preferably possesses qualifications, skills and experience in community engagement.
· DIRECTOR (1 YEAR TERM) Someone who preferably possesses qualifications, skills and experience in any discipline that may be relevant and beneficial to the good governance and administration of the Club.
Please note that Elected Directors are required to meet certain eligibility requirements which are detailed more broadly in the Club’s Constitution. These include but are not limited to being a member of the South Adelaide Football Club, with voting eligibility at the time of nomination and successfully completing other requirements such as an approved Working with Children Check.
A nomination form must be completed for each board position and endorsed by two financial members of the South Adelaide Football Club.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL BUSINESS
Pursuant to clause 19.4 of the Constitution, If any Member entitled to vote at an Annual General Meeting of theClub desires to bring forward any special business at any Annual General Meeting of the Club such Member must give written notice of such business to the Chief Executive Officer not less than twenty-eight (28) clear days prior to theAnnual General Meeting at which the Member wishes such business to be considered and the Chief Executive Officer must incorporate such business in the notice convening the Annual General Meeting. No special business may be transacted at any Annual General Meeting unless notice specifying the specific nature of such business has beengiven in the notice convening such Annual General Meeting.
