2020 Knuckey Cup and Women's B&F Wrap
New recruit Matthew Broadbent claims the 2020 Knuckey Cup while Adelaide Crows Draftee Teah Charlton wins the 2020 Women's Best and Fairest.
In his first season in the blue and white, former Power star Matthew Broadbent had a stellar season where he claimed his first Knuckey Cup.
Coming down to the last game, Broadbent narrowly edged out four time Knuckey Cup winner Joel Cross by one vote.
In his ten seasons with the Panthers, Cross has won the Knuckey Cup four times and the Mark Rawlins Trophy (Runner up B&F) five times.
Finishing third after another great season was the silky defender in Joseph Haines.
For the first time, the South Adelaide Football Club were able to also hold the Women's Best and Fairest on the same night as the Knuckey Cup.
The recent Adelaide Crows draftee and Panthers talent pathway product in Teah Charlton took home her first senior South Adelaide Women's Best and Fairest award.
It was a break out season for Charlton who benefited form some extra minutes in the midfield in 2020.
Another 2020 recruit in Tahlia Meyer, who was also picked up in the AFLW draft at the beginning of October, made her mark after finishing as runner up.
Outgoing dual premiership skipper Lauren Buchanan and Brisbane Lions draftee Indy Tahau jointly finished third.
For the reserves, Jake McCreery capped off a consistent season by taking home the J.L. Brown Trophy (Reserves Best & Fairest) ahead of Tyler Davies,
who caps off another solid season having took home his second consecutive Reserves Runner-Up Best & Fairest
After finishing runner up in 2019, young bull Max Clifton had another stand out season to claim the inaugural Mark Naley Medal.
Following the passing of club legend Mark Naley, the South Adelaide Football Club has decided to name the Under-18 best and fairest medal in honour Mark who also had a significant involvement with the Junior program.
