For the first time, the South Adelaide Football Club wore a commemorative guernsey to honour those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our Country. The bottom hoop was replaced with a field of poppies with a cross and a soldier with the text 'Lest We Forget' underneath. The 1876 text would be moved to the back of the collar. It was worn by both League and Reserves players in the Round 3 clash against West Adelaide at Hisense Stadium on Sunday, April 23 2023. Click here for more pictures of the guernsey.
