The Panthers welcome another addition for 2025.

South Adelaide is thrilled to announce the signing of midfielder Ben Ashley-Cooper for the 2025 Hostplus SANFL season.

The 23 year old is known for his high work ethic and ability to impact games, and will bring some important experience to the Panthers.

Originally from Finley, New South Wales, Ashley-Cooper has split his football journey between Sydney’s VFL team and the Lavington Panthers in the Ovens and Murray League.

In 2024, he played eight games for Sydney VFL, further honing his skills at a higher level.

Additionally, Ashley-Cooper was a standout in the O&M League, playing 10 games for Lavington, including being named best on ground on seven occasions.  

Off the field, he is a fully qualified physiotherapist, a profession that reflects his dedication and attention to detail.

South Adelaide General Manager of Football Brent Reilly is confident that Ashley-Cooper's addition will strengthen the squad. 

“Ben is a hard-working inside midfielder who fits seamlessly into our group.” Reilly said.

“His experience and professionalism make him an exciting asset, and we’re looking forward to seeing him contribute in 2025.”

The Panthers welcome Ben to the club and look forward to his impact on and off the field in the upcoming season.
