Panthers Gala Auction
On Friday night our Panthers Gala Auction was held at Jimmy Deane's Entertainment function room. 187 guests came along and participated in a fun, entertaining, interactive and successful fundraising event night. The club would like to thank all guests which included sponsors, members, kingstonians, players, staff, friends and auction donors who supported the event and made it a fantastic night.
Life Member and Auctioneer Peter Curtis did an absolutely awesome job in conducting the Main Auction and the final result was that the winning bidders certainly picked up some great packages at bargain prices but ultimately provided the club with vital fundraising dollars. The silent auction as always provided lots of fun and friendly competitive bidding amongst guests and i'm sure all succesful bidders would have been very pleased with their fortunes of picking up some absolute bargains.
MC Troy Gray did a terrific job ensuring the night ran smoothly and the band Boris loves to Boogie certainly entertained the guests magnificently throughout the entire night.
Finally, i would like to personally thank a few people who supported me in making the night a success. The Gala Auction is a big fundraising event for the club and alot of work goes into putting the night together over a number of weeks and the assistance i got from staff members Kristy Gurd, Leonie Murray, Sue Whittaker, Rosalie Sibbick and volunteers Barry Pollard and Fred Wescott was amazing and very much appreciated.
Below are some photos from the evening.
