The South Adelaide U19’s have finished the year with a 30 plus goal loss to the Double Blues on Saturday afternoon. It was all one-way traffic from midway in the second quarter as the Panthers were outclassed in every facet of the game. Benn Crate tried hard all day through the midfield while Ben Powell had his moments on the wing.

Season 2008 has come to an end for the South Adelaide U17’s with a 76-point loss on Saturday morning in the Elimination Final. Up against a formidable Rooster outfit the Panthers battled hard all day but were out gunned in the end by a dominant opposition. Sean Beath was judged best player for his courageous display on ball while Nathan Pelle finished the season with a consistent performance on the wing. Apart from this disappointing result the U17’s have done a fantastic job this year just to make the finals considering they lost their first four games. The improvement shown in this group has been pleasing since the round 1 and with seven U16’s in the side on Saturday augers well for 2009 at U18 level.
